About Ryan

Dr. Ryan Lauf, a native of Napoleon, Ohio, did his undergraduate at Xavier University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree. During his time in Cincinnati, he also worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a researcher with a focus on Developmental Biology. He attended medical school at Ohio University and went on to complete his residency at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Following residency he joined the hospitalist group with Central Ohio Primary Care where he was involved in resident teaching, served as a member of the Medicine Clinical Operations Council, and a member of the Value Leadership Committee. Dr Lauf later extended his services to the home bound community where he did home visits for those unable to receive routine care in a office setting. Dr. Lauf is a Board Certified Physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed in Basic Life Support along with Advanced Life Support. He comes to HCH with 7 years of experience in a hospital setting. He will focus on adult care for those 18 years of age and up. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two children, Miles and Addison, and his wife, Meghan. He also enjoys watching movies, playing basketball and learning to golf. Dr. Lauf is excited to bring his expertise and care back to Northwest Ohio.
