For patients in need of intensive nursing and/or medical care, the Intensive Care Unit offers cardiac monitoring, administration of critical medications, internal and external pressure monitoring, as well as ventilators and many other invasive procedures.
Treatment
Your provider will explain and answer your questions regarding all medical testing, treatment and procedures. You or your legal representative must sign authorization forms prior to treatment for the performance of procedures.
Privacy
Your medical records are strictly confidential and accessible to your health care team to document your care and treatment. Your written consent is required prior to release of any Protected Health Information, according to state and federal laws and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Privacy Rule.
