Our History

Serving the Communities of Henry County Since 1919

Henry County Hospital was first established in 1919. Since then, the building, programs, and grounds have undergone immense changes to keep up with advancements in technology, medicine, and the evolving needs of Henry County and the surrounding communities.

In 1982, Henry County Hospital constructed a 64,000 square foot facility with 52 beds. At that time, it was designed to provide inpatient care, as over 70 percent of health care was performed that way. Now, over 75 percent of patients are treated through outpatient services in and out of the hospital in just a few hours.
