Henry County Hospital Foundation

Established in 2000, the Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. provides financial support so that the hospital is able to keep pace with technology and the innovations of tomorrow. In today's rapidly changing economic climate, it is increasingly difficult for most hospitals to adequately fund needed capital improvements and state-of-the-art technology without donor support. The Foundation raises money that helps fund hospital services required to meet the healthcare needs of the community. All funds are used for the benefit of providing healthcare to the residents of Henry County and surrounding communities.

The Mission of the Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. is to seek, accept and properly manage gifts to ensure the continued success and enhancement of services at Henry County Hospital, Inc.

• The Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. is-designated a 501 (c)(3) corporation with the Ohio Secretary of State, Internal Revenue Service taxpayer ID #34-1919852. Contributions to the Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible.

• The Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. assures donors that their gifts will be properly managed and applied according to non-profit corporation laws.

• No charitable gift monies given to the Foundation are used for operating expenses.

• The administration of Henry County Hospital provides office space, staff support and operating expenses for the Foundation.

• Contributions to the Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Henry County Hospital Foundation Board is comprised of community members who promote countywide involvement in hospital activities and encourage charitable giving for the Henry County Hospital.

Ways To Give

One Time Gifts- Consider making a one-time gift to a Capital Campaign or to one of the hospital's special health care programs.

Pledges- Provide ongoing support for the mission of Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. by making a quarterly or annual pledge.

Annual Giving- Support the Henry County Hospital Foundation annually during the annual membership/fund drive. Half of the donations are dedicated towards a piece of capital equipment approved by the Henry County Hospital Board of Directors with the remaining 50% placed in an endowment fund to ensure local healthcare for future generations.

Remembrance Gifts- Donations in memory of a loved one are a thoughtful and lasting way to honor the memory of family and friends.

Major Gifts- A single gift of $10,000 is considered a major gift and provides the donor with a naming opportunity of a specific area within the Hospital. Many areas of the hospital have already been designated by our major donors and signage is proudly displayed in these areas.

Planned Gifts- Include the Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. in your estate plan, endowing future hospital and healthcare services for Henry County. Planned gifts can include making a bequest in your will, establishing a charitable remainder trust, or donating a life insurance policy.
